Effortless Meditation with Liz Weller


Effortless meditation is a simple technique that allows the body to experience a deep state of rest while the mind becomes still and aware.  In this state of restful awakeness, long held tensions and patterns of stress are released spontaneously, while at the same time our minds are drawn inwards so we can access our inner resources – qualities such as compassion, stillness, joy and creativity.  Meditation is rejuvenating, energising and engenders feelings of inner calm and confidence. It offers us the opportunity to rediscover and reconnect with our true selves.

Anyone can meditate. You can meditate either lying down or sitting up. All it takes is 20 mins a day. The practice is easy to learn. The role of the teacher is to enable the student to experience the effortlessness of the practice and to offer understanding.

Group sizes are kept small to allow personal tuition. Sharing experiences in small groups enables students to gain a better understanding of the meditation process and find encouragement from one another. Individual sessions can also be provided on request. Liz’s style of teaching is relaxed and informal and no belief system is required or imposed.

Once learnt, you have a practice for life.

Liz holds free introductory talks. For those interested this is followed by a 5 week course. Each session lasts 1 ½  hrs. The 5 week course costs £70. Concessions are available.

There will be an introductory talk free of charge on Wed 30th January 7 to 8pm, which will be followed by a 5 week course.
